The Fed and Other Garbage

"The Jesuit priest John H. Surratt, proven to be the ring leader in the death of President Lincoln was untouchable. In the affidavit of Henri De Sainte Marie, Aims Report, House of Representatives, 39th Session Congress, Page 15, Ex. Document No. 9., he says: 'I believe he is protected by the clergy and that the murder is the result of a deep laid plot, not only against the life of President Lincoln but against the existence of the republic, as we are aware that priesthood and royalty are and always have been opposed to liberty.'(Henri De Sainte Marie, Rufus King, Minister Resident)

Al, as you know in the Secret Treaty of Verona it says in Article 1: 'The high contracting powers being convinced that the system of representative government is equally as incompatible with the monarchical principles as the maxim of the sovereignty of the people with the divine right, engage mutually, to the system of representative governments, in whatever country it may exist in Europe, and to prevent its being introduced in those countries where it is not yet known.'

After the 1213 Charter made the Pope Contracting party, he and the monarchs of Europe declared in this treaty that representative governments were an enemy to the Catholic Church and the monarchies of the earth. As we know the monarchy of England retains its claim to America, but not without intervening and destroying the 1787 Constitution. The third prong of their attack was the Bank of England, taken over by the Rothschilds money after Britain's bankruptcy. The Rothschilds put in place the Bank of the United States and later the Federal Reserve, which was born in the Bank of England. Where did the Rothschilds get their huge gold reserve? {Nathan Rothschild supplied the King of England with the good news that Wellington had won at Waterloo. The Rothschild/De Medicis/Templar Papal passport of old had built the best spy network. He was then allowed by his Royal cousin to William of Hesse [Illuminati founding member] to trade with this inside knowledge and make an ENORMOUS fortune while bankrupting many other good lords and ladies.}It seems like their banking house just suddenly appeared in the 1700's. In 1850 in the preface of The Negation Of God, M. About said: '....the Rothschilds who would borrow money from the Pope at six per cent interest'...

The tremendous amount of capital it took to bankroll many of the countries the Rothschilds loaned to only existed in Rome. The above is a matter of history, but is never taught and is allowed to disappear from all but old history books, lost forever, thanks to the advent of television." (7)

Rufus King was Ambassador to England and attached to the British Royal Court after that term was over. I guess some of his family came north to Canada around this time and called themselves United Empire Loyalists as my Aunt Ruth used to tell us about her grandmother's family. After his time in England he then returned to the US and ran for President. I believe he would have learned a great deal during his time with Pierre Dupont de Nemours but I was shocked to see his name mentioned in conjunction with the Treaty of Verona. I can not for the life of me understand why the Rothschilds are so convinced there is only One Pie and why the Physiocrats like Dupont and then Jefferson worked so hard to make a total free market that advantaged only the few who already had huge capital from ancient times.

I think it is Bill Moyers who wonders out loud in the Royal Bush Corporate world of the 21st Century about how it is that the people are putting up with no capital gains taxes or reductions thereof; while the arms, drugs and corporate behemoths of all types grasp government handouts or legal loopholes absolving them of responsibility for crimes they commit. The observation B. F. Skinner made about 'positive reinforcement' like Medicare and other bureaucratic boondoggles that take us away from helping each other, are actually reducing the freedoms or rights from the days when we were mere serfs or sharecroppers, deserves consideration even if he was a pervert and control freak.

So few people care as they enjoy their Veuve Cliquot and Gucci. The funny thing is this - if we threw off the One Pie of Malthus and started resource utilization with full technology and no nations or armies we would all be richer and no one (other than a few criminals) would have to give up their ill-gotten gains.

Review: Hammond World Almanac 2006 World Atlas

Publisher: Hammond World Atlas CorporationISBN: 0843709375

The Hammond World Atlas Corporation has teamed up with the bestselling World Almanac and Book of Facts in putting together a superb and educational publication, Hammond World Almanac 2006 World Atlas.

You can probably call this Almanac the bible for world class cartography and data with its 200 pages of facts and figures about people, ethnic groups, languages, religions, area, capital, GDP, head of state, and governments. And then there are the 100 pages of digital TerraScape Maps that feature three dimensional relief of land and ocean floor terrain.

When I looked at the "Contents" section of the Almanac, I was delighted to see that there is a section pertaining to the interpretation of maps. How often have you looked at a map and you haven't a clue as to what all the symbols mean or the map scales and projections?

In clear and precise language the authors of this publication explain what are map projections and explore some of the most widely used projections. They also introduce us to a new projection, the Hammond Optimal Conformal.

For those of us who are unfamiliar with the term map projection, we are informed that the challenge faced by mapmakers is to project the earth's curved surface onto a flat plane. Consequently, to accomplish this feat, cartographers have developed map projections or formulas that govern this conversion of geographic data. It is possible to identify every point on earth with the help of a geographic coordinate grid, and this grid is projected onto a flat surface.

From this starting point we are given explanations of general principles and terms, how to flatten a sphere, selected examples of projections, conic projection and the Hammond Optimal Conformal.

This initial section is followed with a comprehensive explanation as to how to use the map section. It is here where we find out how boundaries are determined, sources of names, map symbols, colors, labels and map scales.

Armed with all this introductory data we are now prepared to examine the world maps starting with the Europe and Northern Asia and then Asia, Australia and Pacific, Africa, Antarctica, South America, and North America. On the bottom of each map there are color codes differentiating the population of the various cities and towns. There is also a mileage scale denoted in either miles or kilometers. Detailed and comparative thematic maps, tables, graphs pertaining to each continent, topography, population, land use, mineral resources and consumption are also included.

The concluding section or the World Almanac Section presents key facts and figures concerning every nation such as their rankings by population and area, major oceans, ocean depths, and islands, rivers, waterfalls, continental altitudes, lakes, reservoirs, dams, highest mountains, temperatures, top languages, precipitation, population growth, energy and environment.

Examining facts and figures about a particular nation we notice that what is included is the following: topography, capital city, independence date, type of government, who is the head of state and head of government, GDP, industries, chief crops, minerals, life expectancy at birth, literacy rate and a link to the country's web site.

This almanac is a magnificent achievement to be savored and repeatedly enjoyed. It fills an educational niche and is a perfect addition for libraries, classrooms, and personal book collections, where vital geographical data is at your finger tips.

Use Restaurant Forms and Auto-Pilot Your Management Tasks

If you've ever played the Diner Dash online game you know that time management is the tragic cosmic joke in the restaurant world. The online game mimics what real life restaurant managers experience every day and unknowingly lose in the realm of time management.

A little time management and restaurant forms for organizing will lessen your stress and increase the quality time you spend with your friends and family. To save time and give restaurant managers direction when running their business, solid operational systems should be in place. This system consists of processes for every aspect of restaurant operations, such as food preparations, cooking time, restaurant inventory, and food service.

Keep in mind the following tips when planning your system:

Prepare a restaurant checklist and identify the key areas where you need to improve delivery and quality, such as food service. If the personnel assigned to that area needs further training, then provide to them the opportunity to learn. If you can cut corners without sacrificing quality, then do so. This tip does not refer to making shortcuts in food preparations and in cooking. Cutting corners works best in accounting and office tasks, such as using a POS system to shorten order taking and relaying the orders to the kitchen. Eliminate time wasting activities by creating restaurant forms that your employees can fill up to aid inventory management and accounting. Examples of restaurant forms include kitchen prep sheets, purchase order forms, and cash drop sheets. You can download restaurant templates online free. You can even create an inventory schedule using an Excel spreadsheet. Delegate the tasks. Letting your shift supervisor or assistant manager handle certain key areas of restaurant operations leaves more time for you to spend with friends and family. Train your employees on how to use the restaurant forms and managing the restaurant's schedule.

Once you have implemented a reliable restaurant schedule that any of your restaurant staff can follow through, then you are on your way to decreasing the stress and spending your time at work the way it was meant to be... training your staff and building relationships with your customers.

Anger Management Skills - 6 Top Anger Control Skills For the Workplace

Anger management skills can help to reduce the risk of an anger outburst in the workplace. To succeed at work we need to be able to put up with frustrations, difficult people and situations that are out of our control. Things will go wrong, people will be rude and annoying sometimes, and equipment will break down. Here are 6 top anger management skills for the workplace.

1. Maintain good physical health and exercise every day. When you are in poor health or overtired it is much easier to become angry quickly. Exercise is essential to long term anger management. If you become angry at work get up and move around so that you use up the energy and adrenalin in your body.

2. Plan ahead for days when you feel angry. Think ahead about all the options you have at work to reduce anger. Make a written list and carry it with you. Having a well thought out anger action plan is a powerful anger management skill. If you are angry and having difficulty concentrating and deciding what to do, pull out your written plan and put it into action.

3. Have a 'buddy' that you can ring if you feel your anger is getting out of control. Talk this over with someone you trust, tell them what they can say and do to help you if you have to phone them. This is a very good anger management skill for anyone in a 12 step program. It is similar to having a sponsor. This is an anger sponsor, someone who can help you calm down and prevent an anger outburst at work. Choose the person carefully.

4. Think the situation through. Right through to the end so that you can see the consequences of losing your temper at work. In the worst case you could lose your job, at a minimum you may look and feel foolish if you lose your temper at work. Remember, once you have said something you cannot take it back. So bite your tongue and think it through properly before you act.

5. Find something to distract you from what, or who is annoying you. Make an excuse to work outside the office or run an errand. Close your office door, or if you share an office find something to do so that you look busy so there is less chance of being interrupted. Play a computer game, read a book or find work to do that distracts your mind. Listen to music or an audio book.

6. Make a written list of the issues that are annoying you. Then brainstorm solutions and write down the advantages and disadvantages of all the options. Writing out problems can help you to see where you can and cannot take action. Write a list of what you can control or influence in this situation and what you cannot control.

Then look at the 'can influence' list and make a plan of (non-angry) actions you can take to start to resolve the situation. Sometimes you cannot change anything. Then you can begin to make a plan for how you will cope and manage your anger in the workplace. Developing a written plan for action will help you think through your choices carefully.

There are many effective anger management skills you can use at work. Start to use these skill and you will gain much better anger control in the workplace.

Always Do the Right Thing

How often do you find yourself in the situation where you're asking yourself:

* Why am I doing this?

* Why did I agree to this?

* I'm not getting paid for this, so why should I bother going "whole hog"? I'll just do enough to get by - or

* Forget it; I can't get it all done - I'll just forget about it!

Even more importantly (and more stressful), how many times have you had to pick up the slack for someone else who has apparently made the decision NOT to do something they promised to do, but hasn't informed others of that decision? Whether we're sitting on a Board, serving on a committee, or simply doing a favor, someone is counting on us to do what we promise. If we don't, we cause added stress for everyone else involved.

I've noticed that I am obligated to pick up the slack for more and more people recently in my own experience - and I wonder why this trend is occurring...

I've heard a lot of excuses, including:

* The hurricanes in our area (Florida) (while this was valid for months after they hit; they are not still valid an entire year later)

* I've gotten very busy at work

* I can't get reliable transportation

The same holds true for other areas in our lives. Many of us join networking and leads groups to further our careers and make our presence known in our markets.

* Do we make it a habit to arrive on time? To arrive at all? To fulfill our role, if any, that day?

* Do we leave early?

* If we do have to miss a meeting, do we let someone know - or just "no show"?

* Do we take phone calls throughout the meeting? (whether or not we leave the room to take the call)

What inadvertent messages do we send by these actions?

* Our time is more precious/important than that of other group members

* The group is not as important as callers trying to reach us

* This meeting is not important enough to attend every week/month/etc.

* They don't deserve the courtesy of a call if we're not going to show up

While there are exceptions to every rule, extending as much courtesy as possible in every situation goes a long way toward establishing our reputation within our community. And while we all have occasional problems meeting commitments, there are ways to appropriately handle these situations, such as:

* Telling people ASAP if you will be out of commission for a while (even if you don't explain why, giving notice helps them plan)

* Helping them find replacements to take over your duties while you're away

* Not saying "yes" in the first place if you know you just can't do it - or do it well. Many times I've had no one to blame but myself because I couldn't say "no"! (I've now started saying "no" more often, when necessary)

All of the above are acceptable ways of doing the right thing, even when you can't fulfill a role the group asks you to fill. After all, it's unreasonable for any group to expect that we can ALWAYS do what they want. We need to be able to say yes or no, at the right times, and have everyone be OK with that. What is not acceptable is SAYING "yes", then DOING "no".

Think about this: If you don't do the right thing when it comes to "volunteer and/or networking" groups, and I only see you there (when it "doesn't matter"), how do I know you will - or even CAN - do the right thing when it does matter?

What messages do we want to send? If we're not sending the right ones, we'd better take a look at the inadvertent "bad" marketing we're creating in these situations... Start sending the right messages. People will notice and work with those who always (or at least usually) manage to do the right thing...

Although there are no rules, I'd like to share with you some guidelines that I use when recommending funky, vibrant, alternative colours to my clients. Don't think of this as 'set-in-stone' law, but more as a guide. Because at the end of the day, alternative hair is about being an individual, unique and yourself, and therefore is a very personal decision. This guide will simply give you some things to consider when making your choice.

1.) Unlike natural hair colour, which needs to work with skin tones, alternative hair colour is more about matching your outfit and look. So to find what works for you, first look at your wardrobe! Ask yourself what your favourite item of clothing is. What colours do you love to wear? This is a question I always like to ask my customers, as it helps to narrow down the choice, and give me and idea of the sort of look they like to go for.

If you colour your hair blue, I'm not saying that you have to wear blue everyday. Thats just silly. But you will want colourful outfits that would match blue hair. For example, it won't work if you like the hippie look with more natural earth tones but dye your hair candy floss pink. Brown corduroy flares definitely wouldn't work with Audrey Kitching pink hair. If you like the hippie look, dark pine green dreads would look better - or maybe even rainbow hair, to match your rainbow tie-dyed t-shirts. You seen what I mean?

2.) Look at your make-up. When you have a night out and create a facial work of art, what colours do you tend to favour? If you have an all-black wardrobe, maybe this will help you to decide what would suite your hair. What are your favourite eyeshadow or eyeliner colours? Or favourite lipstick? For example, if your favourite lipstick is turquoise, why not make this your hair colour? Or if you want to mix streaks of different hair colours, stick to aquatic colours, such as blues, greens and purples, as this will complement your makeup. And don't forget your eyes - if you naturally have very strong coloured eyes, such as green, or bright blue, use a hair colour that will complement. Fire engine red hair can look amazing with bright green eyes. Even if you like to use coloured contact lenses, again, choose complementary hair colours.

3.) Consider your accessories! From piercings and tattoos to jewelry and funky glasses! If you have a colourful bracelet that never leaves your wrist, go for multicoloured hair! Own a pair of bright red framed funky glasses? Why not add some red streaks to your hair, too? If you have a colourful tattoo, you could match your hair colour to it. Especially if it's on your neck, behind your ear or on your chest or shoulders, as these areas are more visible with your hair.

4.) Think about which colours work together and which don't. If you like pastel, girly colours in your outfit, stick to baby blue instead of a dark blueberry shade. And use colours that work together, like baby blue, pearly pinks and snowy white. Or if you like hot colours, try red, orange and yellow together. (I once did this combination on a client with a Mohawk, we started with yellow at the roots fading into orange and red tips on the ends. Looked like flames coming out of his head when it was all styled up! Very cool.)

Other colours that look great together are aquatic tones, such as blues, greens and purples. Or for good contrasting colour combinations, try green and dark pink, or purple and yellow, or bright blue and orange. Some colours I personally wouldn't put together are red, pink and purple, they are too similar and don't complement each other. Another colour to avoid would be yellow on its own, as this can just look like a bad bleach job! Orange is also tricky as a hair colour. If you do want your hair orange all over, keep it as dark and vibrant as you can, so it looks intentional. Keep it topped up, because as it fades, again it can look like you just tried to bleach your hair from black to blonde in one go. Not a good look.

5.) Don't be scared to mix your dye to get the right colour for you. Unlike natural hair colour, alternative colours (such as Special Effects, Manic Panic, Stargazer, Crazy Color, Fudge & Directions) can all be mixed together just like you would with paint. So experiment! It's great fun and you can come up with some amazing colours, including a shade that is totally unique to you. Some of the most beautiful dye jobs I've done have come though mixing and experimenting. The more you play around with colour, the more you will understand what works best together, and what works best for you.

So there you have it! Anya Goy's guide to alternative hair colour suitability. I hope it has helped give you some things to consider before you pick your next bottle of dye off the shelf. Remember - it's not about following rules, it's about being true to yourself.

Static Caravans Insurance and Your Pocket

Not all static caravans insurance policies are the same. Different providers may place different emphasis on certain features. This can obviously affect both the level of cover provided and the cost of the insurance itself.

There are a few points you may wish to consider if you are about to renew your static holiday home insurance:

one of the main risks of damage for static caravans comes from flooding, so choosing a site with a good history of being flood free may make sense; awning space can be extremely useful for adding an additional living and storage area to your caravan - though by definition this can never be a secure place and policies may specifically exclude belongings left there from cover; awnings can also be prone to damage in stormy conditions - making sure that your awning is safely stowed away if you are not in your static may help keep it that bit safer and it may also be a requirement of your policy; there may be a tendency for some site owners to try to suggest that buying their static caravan insurance is mandatory if you want to use their site, however, this is not correct and you can insist on using your own insurance cover which may be more cost-effective; even if the site owners charge you a fee for having to administer your own insurance policy, buying your own static caravan insurance may still be the more cost effective option for you; over the winter, when you are not using your static caravan, it may be a good idea to ensure that heating and water systems are drained down to reduce the risks of damage; fitting things such as alarms and security locks may, in the case of some static caravans insurance providers, lead to reduced premiums.

So, if you are looking at a static caravans insurance quote, there are a number of points you may wish to bear in mind. Some of these may be more important to you than others and it is important to get the most appropriate mix for you and how you use your static holiday home.

The Unstable Medical Malpractice Insurance Rates

One would be hard pressed to impart actual figures relating to the medical malpractice insurance rates since there is a host of variables which apparently influence the cost of such insurance. It is adequate to say that the outlay has exceeded any expectations from the medical profession. Unfortunately, there appears to be no leveling out of these rates at this time.

The common medical practitioner who is initially purchasing their malpractice insurance is questionably shocked to discover their premiums recurrently rising. This increase in rates is not restricted to any one medical discipline but rather it is a reflection upon the medical industry as a whole. Between the bizarre jury monetary awards and the intensified legal defense costs the medical malpractice insurance market has been forced to repeatedly adjust the medical rates accordingly.

It has been many years now since the physicians have experienced a stable rate in their malpractice insurance and it is likely that they will not see this desperately needed leveling within the near future. Concern has been naturally expressed regarding the incorrigible adverse patient outcomes which symbolize the underlying factor for determining the physicians expected rates. The likelihood is eminent that such adverse reactions to these medical outcomes will ultimately result in legal actions is the major cause of these increased rates.

When a claim is initially submitted there are numerous cost influences which have a propensity to shape the final outcome. These factors stretch from the nature of the grievance, the complete extent from which the provided caretaker is able to be legally defended as well as the compliance of the doctor himself to participate in his own defense. In our society today the irregularity of jury awarded claims has driven settlement costs sky-high and the attitude towards the doctor's proficiency fosters a legal environment where the liability insurance companies and the policyholder's would prefer to merely settle the cases out of court.

Additional factors which contribute to these unrealistic rates can embrace the amount of insurance coverage held, the exact number of physicians concerned in the claim and the individual hospitals limits of required coverage.

These combinations of factors have contributed to an 88 percent increase in rates between 1994 and the year 2000. The medical defense costs persist in reaching higher amounts as the attorney fees escalate, expert witness fees become elevated and the general cost of court reports, travel expenses and other related costs rise. Once again a rise is continuously shown from 1994 to 2000 by as much as 39 percent for defense of a claim.

In conclusion, it comes as no surprise that the increase in malpractice insurance rates is a direct result of the escalating costs necessary to resolve and defend against excessive claim amounts. You can readily see that given the particular insurance industry facts it is virtually impossible to predict any sort of future malpractice insurance rate variance. If our current medical jury awards continue as they have been shown we can expect drastic increases in the future as well.

Carbon Nano Tubes in the Human Body - There Are Some Real Opportunities and Challenges

You may not know this, but human blood causes degradation of carbon structures. You shouldn't be too surprised about this because the human body is partly made of carbon, so obviously the species has evolved to handle it, which is kind of funny if you think about it, especially for one of those people who is trying to reduce their carbon footprint. The best way to do that is go on a diet; do you see what I mean? Okay, but all jokes aside I'd like to discuss this with you for a moment if I might.

Last year, I was talking to a scientist and researcher about the possibility of using graphene and Carbon Nanotubes in the human body and human brain to interface with the human biosystem. That would be a challenge if the enzymes in the blood attacked the structures, and yes, there's probably a way around that challenge, but it is exactly that challenge which may help us deliver drugs to certain parts of the body encased in carbon nanotubes.

There was an interesting article on the MIT Physics arXiv Blog recently titled; "Exploding Carbon Nanotubes Could Act as Drug Grenades - Heating water inside carbon nanotubes until they explode could deliver drugs precisely, say chemists," by KFC posted on 2-14-2012. The article stated;

"Carbon nanotubes tubes filled with drugs and sealed with biodegradable caps, could work their way inside cells where they deliver their load, but may not target the drugs well enough if the caps degrade too quickly or too slowly. Researcher's concept is to fill the tubes with a mixture of drugs and water molecules and seal them with a secure cap. Inside the body, the tubes enter various types of cell. But a treatment would involve illuminating only the cells of interest with an infrared laser which heats the tubes and boils the water they contain. The resulting increase in pressure bursts the cap and forces the water and drug molecules into the cell, like a grenade bursting."

Okay so, that's a rather complicated explanation, but you can certainly see where they're coming from, and what they're trying to do. I would submit to you that it maybe a lot easier than we think trying to accomplish this mission in the name of biotech, and the next generation of future cancer curing drugs. You see, there are so many diseases, viruses, and problems that we face, and are trying to tackle with modern medicine, that having the ability to do this, gives humans the advantage over those things which challenge the body.

Of course, if you are trying to deliver the drugs to a certain point, and ensure that those carbon nanotube vessels and micron scale torpedoes if you will deliver on demand, then it should be fairly easy to engineer them in such a way which allows the body to do most of the work, with only slight frequency, or energy intervention to do just as the scientists suggest above. We may not need to "explode" the end caps, just allow them to dissolve naturally, by making them the proper thickness.

If we make them with multiple thicknesses, this might act as a timed release strategy. What I'm saying is that we might be able to do even more than is suggested by these brilliant researchers. So please consider all this and think on it. Indeed, if you are Researcher of biotech, I'd like you to please consider this if you will, and think on it.
